So, did you make it to Rick’s Times Square Photo Walk? Have you uploaded your photos? We had a great time, meeting up at the Duffy Square steps for a group shot at 5PM, then meandering through Times Square for an couple of hours photographing anything and anyone that looked interesting and would stop long enough for 60 photographers to accost them!

We shot the young gentleman above with his hand-made brass bicycle, the Hard Rock cafe facade and guitar, interesting people and street performers all over the place, and two classic cars with hydraulics and mostly original styling that we chased down for three blocks until they pulled over for us. At least one participant joined in and drummed with a sidewalk performer and an amazing guitarist serenaded us to end the day.

All in all it was a fantastic experience and we could not have asked for better weather and photographic subjects. New York City is always unpredictable, but the one thing you can usually count on is being able to find something interesting to photograph.

Finally, Special thanks to Monte Rudze for dragging me out of the road before I got run over getting the opening photograph.
