The evening sun sets at Grande Riviere beach in Trinidad. After a wonderful dinner we came back out to watch the turtles lay their eggs. Multiple rivers run into this beach and out into the ocean, making it one of if not the best beach in the world for leatherbacks to lay their eggs. Up to 300 visited the night we were there, with up to 500 coming per night during the peak of the season.
