Wow … what an amazing vision to awaken to this morning. After a long day of travel and hiking yesterday, even the two hour time change wasn’t enough to get me out before sunrise. But you don’t have to go far in Taos to see incredible beauty. This was the view while standing and drinking coffee at the kitchen window of the home where I am staying. The large peak on the left is Taos Mountain, which hides the even taller Wheeler Peak behind it from here.
