“Follow the gold dome”

That’s what thousands of freshman are told every fall when they come to orientation at UConn. Although these days, it is harder to see the dome from the core of campus with all of the new buildings that have come up. On the other hand, we didn’t have Google Street View and maps.uconn.edu back in the olden time either. We did have to walk uphill to class both ways in the snow, though. So there’s that.
