Where we live in Tolland, there is beautiful light much of the year when the sun starts to set through the trees. However, this time of year something about it is just that much more amazing.

As the sun passes overhead and the shade encroaches into the yard, the light filters down through the newly-grown leaves, and spots and colors dapple branches, providing fleeting moments of beauty that last no longer than your moment of awe.

Every afternoon is a new show put on by nature that I am fortunate to enjoy.
