More New York City Wallpapers!

Photographing New York City (part of the Digital Field Guide series by Wiley) is in stock at Amazon.com and bookstores everywhere! I’ll be posting one wallpaper a week from the book or the series for the next couple of months both here and at the Digital Photo Experience. If you have any requests for specific wallpapers after reading the book, post in the comments and we’ll make it happen if at all possible.

This week I’ll be putting up a bonus wallpaper because of the delay between weeks posts. Stay tuned!

Each wallpaper image will be available in widescreen and standard versions for PCs and Macs as well as an iPad, iPhone lock screen and mobile devices!

May 17th – Photography New York City Digital Field Guide!

Amazon has updated the ship date for Photographing New York City Digital Field Guide!

Looks like a ship date of May 17th, just in time for Memorial Day or other summer photo trips into New York City! Get your copy at the link below.

New site!

I’m excited to be working with Sitely Solutions designing a new WordPress site for JeremyPollack.net and a custom skin for FatFrogPhotography as hosted on Smugmug. Generic boring default WordPress here should be a bit spiffier in about a month!

Galleria Vivace show opening

The opening at Galleria Vivace was a big success! Veronica and Brian put on an amazing opening, brought in a ton of people, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. I sold two images, both of New York, and got a couple of leads on the sales side. On the personal side, I met a number of really great people and fellow artists, including Nicole Sands, whose monsters are fascinating, and Karl Bayek, a fellow photographer amongst other artistic endeavors.

Here’s a look at my two walls, framed with frames and mats from Frame Destination.

Photoshop World!

Packing my bags, gear and toys for Photoshop World next week. Heading down Monday, Photo Safari with Moose Peterson and Joe McNally on Tuesday, then three days of learning and meeting new people. I can’t wait!

Maybe I should pack a few clothes, too.

I’m also working on getting in the right mindset. Juan Pons has a great post about getting the most out of a photo workshop. While much of the week is a bit different from an actual photo workshop, most of these tenets are applicable.
