On my recent trip to California I travelled through Anza-Borrego Desert State Park for a couple of days, timed just right to catch the full moon rising and setting. This shot was one of a few from Font’s Point, about 5 miles east of Borrego Springs. It was an incredible experience standing there as the afternoon progressed, watching the shadows lengthen over the badlands until the sun fell behind the mountains and then watch the process in reverse as the full moon rose over the Salton Sea.
